My heart monitor doesn't work.  What do I do?  Most problems with the Heart Monitor are due to poor contact between the chest strap and the skin.  Here are some solutions to common problems.

1.  You MUST wet the chest strap on both sides of the center hub to improve contact with skin.

2.  Make sure the chest strap fits snugly around your chest, with the sensor unit just above the bottom of the breastbone.

3.  Look for a flashing red light on the front of the Entertrainer as an indication that the chest strap is working.  If no flashing light is seen, try turning the unit off and back on to see if that corrects the problem.  If not, check to make sure the batteries are fresh.

4.  Tighten the strap a little more to make sure it is making contact.
